Main Concert Information

Hi BDA Families,
Term 4 is our concert term and there is a lot to look forward to with costumes arriving and routines being practised. The following PDFs contains a lot of important information so please read them carefully and let us know if you have any questions.

Make Up:
Attached is an image of the makeup required for girls. The only make up not on this image is foundation which should be your first layer before the rest is applied. Make-up Example

Make up for boys is more basic, with bronzer along cheek bones, dark brown lipstick, dark brown eye shadow on eyebrows/pencilled in if naturally light, and dark brown eye shadow.

A reminder that make up should be applied heavily & look unnatural close up. We use stage make up so when the harsh stage lights are on the dancers faces, as audience members we can see their facial features & they appear natural.

DVD:
The concert will be filmed by Costello and available for purchase. DVDs cost $40 for 1 concert or $50 for 2 and the money goes directly to the company. Order forms must be handed in by concert day as they are handed to the videographers on the day.

Tickets:
Ticket prices are Adult $38 and Concession/Child (U12) $28. Tickets will go on sale on the 11th November.

Backstage Adult Volunteers:
If you would like to volunteer for any of our rehearsals/concerts, please sign up via the events tab in the parent portal: https://app3.jackrabbitclass.com/portal/ppLogin.asp?id=529297. We rely heavily on our parent volunteers to ensure our adult to student ratios are high enough & really appreciate any time you can give.

Please note all adult volunteers will require a valid Working With Children’s Check which are free for volunteers & easy to obtain. We are happy to assist you with the process.
