Brighton Dance Academy offers beginner ballet classes for 5 year olds and 6 year olds as an introduction to learning classical ballet.
Your budding ballerina will learn the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) pre-primary and primary ballet syllabus, which will give them a solid foundation to continue into any pathway in dance.
Our children’s dance programs teach students the discipline and poise required for classical ballet while developing fine and gross motor skills through imaginative scenarios, music and rhythm activities and classical ballet postures. Students who study the pre-primary and primary ballet syllabus will then have the opportunity to move into junior ballet or the RAD syllabus.
Dance for young children is ideal for both little girls and little boys to develop their strength, coordination and imagination, and our kids dance classes offer all of that and more.
