Recreational Ballet

At Brighton Dance Academy, we believe that classical ballet is the foundation of all dance styles. We are very fortunate to have some of Melbourne’s leading ballet teachers providing ballet classes in many different forms

For students wanting to do recreational ballet and who do not wish to do exams, Brighton Dance Academy offers Junior Ballet, Pre-Intermediate Ballet, Bronze Ballet and Silver Ballet options. These are energetic once a week ballet classes and don’t have an exam commitment.

Our children’s ballet classes at junior, pre-intermediate, bronze level and silver level provide:

• Dance classes for beginners
• Casual ballet classes
• Ballet classes for 7 year olds
• Ballet classes for 8 year olds
• Ballet classes for 9 year olds
• Ballet classes for tweens
• Ballet classes for teenagers
• Strength and conditioning
• Training with professional teachers

All students in our recreational ballet junior, intermediate and advanced levels have the opportunity to dance in our end of year concert and gain enjoyment out of performing the skills and steps they learn in class.

We will miss the whole crowd at BDA and are so lucky that our daughter got to dance with you for the 2 1/2 years we were in Australia.
